Breaking news from Lonetrek this evening;
In a positive excess of poetic justice, an NVA fleet consisting of several battleships and support vessels sighted a Biomass Cartel registered industrial vessel piloted by the Terra Nova traitor ôScingrimö.
Though the system was concord patrolled high security Isinokka; in truth the righteous fury of the NVA fleet was not to be denied by mere bureaucracy and red-tape!
NVA captain ôthe Preacherö of Occassus Republica Corporation took a measured gamble and lining up the Biomass Indy in his sights, fired two volleys from his Megathron battleship ôWTFuxö, to annihilate the treacherous vessel and blast its hull to tumbling shards.
Concord response was fast, but ôthe Preacherö was faster still, and charging shield hardeners and drives was able to evade pursuit and jamming and clear the system for a safe getaway.
Then the payoff!
As far as the eye could see, were gleaming canisters containing a myriad blueprints and modules in a fabulous trove of foundling fortune à
And where did this wealth come from?
Irony of irony dear readers ...
The indy had in hours before belonged to Terra Nova Corporation and the pilot ôScingrimö was one of those who had betrayed the NVA to Biomass less than 24 hours before.
Karma has been spoken of a lot today, but rarely can it have been so quick to punish the treacherous deeds of false-friends and turncoat traitors.
Even now the loot is still being valued, but it is clear that the total value of this haul is worth many times the losses that NVA suffered last night to the Terra Nova betrayal.
Some highlights of the trove include;
Many rare modules and a huge variety of pirate loot, Some of the corpses taken in the Terra Nova treachery last night, (including one from ôthe Preachersö own corp) Lots of ammo and torps and miscellaneous combat disposables And the following blueprints including (but not limited to);
Microwarpx 2 Abx 2 Emp Ammo 1 Medium armor repar 2 small armor repair 1 Armageddon x 1 no runs Dominix 1 no runs Raven 1, 1 run Scorpion 2 no runs Hammerhead 2 Ogre 2 defender 2 dual pulse 1 Mega Beam laser 1 Tachyon 5 Dragon Cruise missile 2 FOF hellhound 2 FOF hunter 3 FOF hydra 1 FOF Phoenix 2 FOF seeker 2 FOF Stalker 1 Gama L 1 Multi L 2 Multi M 1 Radio L 2 Ultraviolet L 1 Bantam 1 Merlin 1 Probe 1 Slasher 1 Basic Expander 3 Anti Matter L 4 Antimatter M 1 Anti Small 4 Indium m 3 Indium s 1 Lead M 1 Plutonium L 1 Plutonium M 1 Thorium L 4 Thorium M 3 Thorium S 1 Uranium L 1 Uranium M 6 Uranium s 3 125 rail 2 250 rail 2 425 rail 3 L neutrin Blaster 1 Badger Mk2 1 Python Mine BP Basic Mining Drone 2 Miner 1 BP 1 Blood Clawl 4 Cataclysm cruise 3 Devastor Cruise 1 Havoc Missile 3 Paradise Cruise 7 Pirahna 1 Saber Tooth 1 Thunder Bolt 3 Widow Maker 3 Wrath Cruise Missile 1 A-3 1 H-50 Launcher 2 Siege Launcher 2 Power Diog 1 Reactor 1 3 Basic Kinetic 1 large Shield booster 1 Shield boost amp 2 Xlarge Shield booster 2 Small Shield Extender 1 Shield Recharger 1 Inferno Torp 2 Juggernaut Torp 1 Mjonir torp 1
(all researched to high degrees of mineral efficiency) Sources inside Terra Nova/Biomass describe this as ôa terrible blowö, and the elimination in own daring strike of much of the corporations logistical base.
Early NVA estimates of the value of the stash were 500m or there abouts; but Terra Nova/Biomass sources make the figure far higher.
Any which way you measure it, the scores have been comprehensively settled from the Terra Nova/Biomass sneak attack last night.
The price of 5 insured battleships and a half dozen cruisers donÆt even get close to the crippling blow dealt to Hupa and his backstabbing companions this evening by the gallant fighters of the NVA space Navy.
Tonight the NVA is dancing in the streets of Y-4 station,
And ôthe Preacherö is the toast of the alliance.
Long live the NVA!

Quote: Glad you guys in the Battleships were able to handle one of our Bestowers. I heard it was a close fight.
Wasn't really one of your guys Techie Zero ... he still had Hupa's traitor-stink all over him.
I'm sure Biomass wouldn't have made that noobish mistake.

I might add that I spoke briefly to pilot ôScingrimö of Terra Nova/Biomass last night in Torrinos.
In response to my request for a comment Scingrim said ...
"The NVA were very brave to take on my lone indy with 5 battleships".
I then asked how it felt to lose so much in one single attack.
Scingrim said,
"It's no problem we can replace it easily."
Well on reflection I'd like to ask Hupa to send another similarly loaded industrial past torrinos system tonight if its not too much bother.
(I can get the time and details from one of the Biomass spies so don't bother letting me know the specifics)
Because frankly,
If Terra Nova and Biomass can keep up this level of supply then I think I might just take up "pirating" their indies ... because it sure beats working for a living ;)
Love and peace

Ha Molly, I think a compare and contrast on the relative merits of NVA and Pirate approach to upsets and losses in PR is about due.
Yesterday when we got decisively ass-kicked by a Biomass attack and internal treachery we put our hands up and admitted "we took a helluva beating" ...
Sure we condemned Terra Nova for being traitors and scum, but we admitted the defeat and even complimented Biomass of so comprehensively stitching us up.
Now guess what? Today we have some good news and one of the biggest single loot captures in recent history in answer and what to the pirate enemies do?
You guessed, b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t is the order of the day.
"Wha! Wha! you bullied our indy!"
Wha! Wha! It wasn't a fair fight!
"Wha! Wha! no fair it was hi-sec space!"
"Wha! Whaaaaaa! come back and fight we still have one arm and one leg!"
Honestly guys its pathetic and you are pathetic. Take your knocks like adults and stop whinging little petty little carebear noobs.
All is fair in love and war.
Grow up and grow a little dignity while you are at it!

True indeed monsieur Beauregard, and not so much a case of "revenge being a dish best served cold" as "revenge served piping hot with a a muppet garnish and a side order of whinging pirate carebears"
lol

Its true Wretch, it was a fine bit of "piracy" I think that is why molly and space invaders are having such a sense of humour failure ... puts their antics to shame ;)
